The gearbox, 6 speed manual, requires no special talent to be handled. In fact, it is neither sweet nor refined, but is totally suited to the Jeep. And four-wheel drive system that can be manipulated at the touch of a lever (sometimes difficult to achieve, it must be specified) makes the Arctic Edition almost unstoppable.
Of course, the suspensions are rigid and rocked the large vehicle on the road, of course, the engine growls with some displeasure each time you seek .. so what? Is not that exactly what is expected of a jeep?

Which brings me back to my storm ... I admit I crossed some fields and some trails, but nothing convincing. The fields would have left had frozen any subcompact. But once the 50 inches of snow accumulated well, and plenty of snow piles scattered around my area, I had fun.
I admit I pushed a little luck trying to climbing steep snowy and slippery ... but nothing has resisted my valiant vehicle. So much so in fact that even Sonny (who loves off-road trails, I might add), took his day off forced by the storm to accompany me on the trail ... and call me again Wrangler during the summer to return to play in the mud.
Not for everyone
It is clear, the Jeep Wrangler, regardless of variation, will not please everyone. Even if it improves, his behavior is a bit brutal, if not silent, and the direction and gearbox require some effort to be at their best.
But in my mind for pleasure vehicle, the Wrangler throne near the top. And I promise myself to please Sonny, Wrangler and resume in the summer, just to cross some wooded trails, or ride without a roof, which is still possible with the big Jeep.
